About Us

Eternal Bloom Maternity LLC provides resources and in-home care support before or after a baby is born. These resources are much needed for new and busy parents who may be overwhelmed by trying to juggle the many responsibilities that today’s parents must take on. As a culture, American parents lack the kind of family and community support that was available in the past.

Eternal Bloom Maternity LLC is dedicated to helping foster the mother-infant bond and making the expansion of the family easier. We can be your postpartum doula, nanny, housekeeper, mother’s helper, and personal assistant! We provide educational resources as well as in-home care services including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, meal delivery, errand running, babysitting newborn siblings, and other household tasks that a new or busy mom may need help with. We also answer the doorbell for unexpected guests and kindly let them know if mom and baby are sleeping.

All of our caregivers are insured and carefully selected through an extensive interview process that includes background checks and reference verification. Our caregivers have also successfully completed our comprehensive training program as postpartum doulas and serve as companions and advocates for the moms in their care.

I am embarrassed to use Eternal Bloom Maternity LLC - can't I handle this myself?

Today’s American postpartum culture can be very hard on new parents. In fact, about 100 years ago, women were encouraged to stay in bed for four weeks or more after giving birth, which was called the “postpartum rest period.” During this time, the new mother could rest, recuperate, and bond with her newborn while a waitress (sometimes a relative, sometimes not) took care of her household chores. This custom of postpartum rest and the social support network that supported it later disappeared in the 19th century and was sadly never replaced by new customs or practices. Today, American women are expected to return to their families and/or work soon after giving birth. Not only is this practice unnatural, it is also exhausting for new parents who need to conserve their energy to adjust to the rhythms of a newborn. American postpartum care is completely lacking for new mothers, while other parts of the world, including Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and parts of Europe, have some form of postpartum rest period to promote healing, rest, and protect this precious bonding period.

Eternal Bloom Maternity LLC is bringing back the postpartum rest period for new mothers, and for those who have neglected this special period, we are here to give you a break—because you may need it!
